One day I decided to drive an old army truck - a Volvo Viking, to Iceland ...
I met my team and Jan the truck owner in Sweden and we took a ferry to the ancient viking land of the sagas.
Everything about that trip was beyond incredible and the total cost was pretty insignificant - sleeping in or under the truck and cooking food from supermarkets.
Hiking, climbing, fishing, hot springs and a trip to Reykjavik. It certainly beat normal life - or dying of addiction in England...
I couldn't get anyone else to try the traditional delicacy of rotten shark or sheep's brains - people tend to live in unnecessary fear, because it was delicious (hence why theyre called delicacies!) ...
